EPOS software for the repair shop counter

Fixory's EPOS till is made for repair and phone shops: scan products into the basket, take payment across more than one method, and keep every sale, refund and receipt on record.

The New sale screen: products to search or scan, each with its price and stock, one flagged Low with 3 left, beside the current sale of a clear case and a tempered glass, £22.49 in total, paid by card

Scan to sell

Scanning or typing a product's exact barcode adds it straight to the basket.

  • Scan a phone's IMEI or serial number to sell that exact unit. The IMEI is printed on the receipt, and a refund puts the phone back in stock.
  • Split a sale across cash, card, bank transfer and other methods.
  • Line and basket discounts need permission, which Managers have by default, and a reason, which is recorded.
  • Print receipts from the browser or email them to the customer.
  • Your business name, contact details and receipt footer appear on your receipts.
  • Upload your shop's logo and it prints at the top of your receipts and invoices. You choose whether it goes on 80 mm receipts.
Fixory records card payments but doesn't process them; use your existing card machine.

Every sale on record

Every sale is kept in a searchable sales history with its items, payments and refunds.

  • Refund against the original sale, in part or in full. The stock goes back, and the refund method is recorded.
Today's payments by method: £117.45 in total, £87.46 by card (74%) and £29.99 in cash (26%)

A till for each person

Each member of staff opens their own till, and closing it compares the cash counted with the amount expected.

VAT on every sale

Once you're VAT-registered, Fixory works out the VAT on each line of a sale from the product's VAT setting, to the penny.

  • Receipts show the VAT included. Print a full or simplified VAT invoice when a customer asks for one.
  • A refund reverses the VAT and prints as a credit note.
  • Until you're registered, your receipts carry no VAT wording at all.

Good to know

  • Fixory doesn't work out VAT return figures or send returns to HMRC. Your accountant does that from the export.
  • It doesn't connect to card terminals or payment providers at the till.

Common questions

Can I scan barcodes at the till?

Yes. Scanning a product's barcode adds it straight to the basket. You can also generate barcodes for your own products and print labels.

Does Fixory take card payments?

Not at the till. Fixory records how each sale was paid, including cash, card, bank transfer and split payments, so keep using your card machine. With Fixory Pro and Fixory Business, trade customers can pay their invoices online by card through your own Stripe account.

Does Fixory work out VAT?

Yes, once you're VAT-registered. Fixory works out the VAT on each line of a sale, shows it on the receipt and gives your accountant the records. It doesn't work out VAT return figures or send returns to HMRC.
