How do UK repair shop software options compare?

Fixory, RepairDesk, RepairShopr and CellStore all run in the cloud and combine repair tickets with a till and stock. They differ most in price and currency, text messages, integrations and how they handle several shops. Fixory is priced in pounds, keeps its data in the UK and has a VAT margin scheme for used phones.

Everything about RepairDesk, RepairShopr and CellStore on this page comes from their own websites, checked on 29 October 2026. Prices and features change, so check their sites before you decide. If something here is out of date, email [email protected] and we’ll correct it.

What does each one say about the UK?

  • Fixory is built for UK shops: prices in pounds, data kept in the United Kingdom (UK South, London) on Microsoft Azure, and a VAT margin scheme for second-hand phones.
  • RepairDesk lists a UK phone number, Paymentsense for UK and Ireland merchants, and VAT margin support for trade-ins.
  • RepairShopr doesn’t name the UK; it lists international editions in more than 20 countries and VAT invoices.
  • CellStore says it gained its first Australian, UK and European clients in 2016, and VAT rates can be set as a tax option.

None of the other three states GBP prices or UK data hosting on the pages we checked.

Which questions should you ask each one?

  1. What will I pay each month in pounds, including VAT and any add-ons?
  2. Where is my shop’s data kept?
  3. How does it handle the VAT margin scheme for used phones?
  4. What does a second shop cost?
  5. How do I get my data out if I leave?

Where Fixory fits

Fixory runs in a web browser. Repairs are booked in with the customer, device, fault and condition notes, scanning a barcode adds a product to the basket, and new and used devices are kept as stock one unit at a time. You can buy a customer’s device into your used stock, and the optional VAT margin scheme keeps a stock book and works out the VAT on the margin. Fixory Business groups a business’s shops into one organisation.

Fixory Pro and Fixory Business integrate with Xero and Stripe, for trade invoicing and online card payments from trade customers. Fixory doesn’t send SMS or connect to e-commerce services, and it doesn’t keep stock across more than one shop location.
