What changes when you run more than one repair shop?

With a second shop, each shop needs its own customers, repairs, stock and takings, but you need to see them together, move staff between them and set the rules once. Decide early who can work where, how stock moves between shops, and who signs off refunds and discounts in each.

What should stay separate?

Each shop’s customers, repairs, sales, stock and till. A customer who books a repair in one shop expects that shop to know about it, and each shop’s takings need to add up on their own at the end of the day.

What should be shared?

  • Your people. A technician who covers two shops shouldn’t need two logins.
  • Your rules. Terms, discount limits and who can refund should be the same in every shop unless you decide otherwise.
  • Your view. You need each shop’s numbers side by side.

What should you decide early?

  1. Who can work where, and with what role in each shop.
  2. Who signs off discounts, refunds and write-offs in each shop.
  3. How stock moves between shops, and who records it.
  4. Which shop owns a repair that’s booked in at one and fixed at the other.

How Fixory works for several shops

Fixory Business groups your business’s shops into one organisation, and each shop keeps its own customers, sales, repairs, stock and reports. Staff can work at several of your shops with one email and password, with their own role at each shop, and your business’s Owners give staff access to other shops.

There’s one subscription and one invoice for all your shops, your business accepts the Fixory Terms once, and Fixory Pro is included for every shop. Stock across more than one shop location and franchises (shops owned by different businesses) aren’t supported yet.
